A visual artist originally from Nezahualcóyotl and currently living in Xochimilco. His work stems from observing his surroundings and an interest in understanding how images help create, narrate, and build community. From both of these contexts, he explores social dynamics, the ways in which people inhabit space, and how relationships are forged in historically stigmatized contexts.

One question runs through her practice: What is it that unites us? From there, she develops her work on the street, observing everyday life and the ways people live together that give neighborhoods their identity. She also reflects on how these neighborhoods are viewed from the outside, which has led to series such as “May 5”, where he uses exaggeration and dramatization of “Mexican-ness” to challenge stereotypes and outside perspectives.
