MARCO A. BARRADAS

Knowledge is something that the more it is cultivated, the more well-being it generates.
Originally from Xalapa, he was a university professor, government employee and family man. His love for photography began early in his life, but it was not until his 30's that he got fully into the professional field of photography. With more than a decade of experience in university teaching, his immersion in the photographic field began with the realization of academic research that required him to deepen his technical mastery of cameras and various light situations, which led him to explore photography from various styles and for various purposes. At that time, in a school article, his name was mistakenly changed to Maroc instead of Marco, giving rise to his pseudonym.
Years later he founded, together with other colleagues, the now defunct Colectivo de Fotógrafos de Xalapa, with which he has participated in various activities ranging from teaching photography classes to underprivileged children to photographic exhibitions in places such as the Casa de la Cultura de Coatepec, Veracruz.
On the other hand, his taste for teaching has led him to develop and implement various workshops related to the photographic field as well as to conduct various academic research in the area, which has allowed him to interact with specialists from other fields, ranging from renowned therapists to show business personalities, such as Paquita la del Barrio (singer) and Carlos Morett (film director).
