Highlights from Xalapa, Mexico
18/03/2026On February 28th we held the TLC walk in Babahoyo, Ecuador.
The activity took place in the area of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Mercy, meeting point from which we began to walk the nearby streets, integrating ourselves into the daily rhythm of the city with those who joined motivated by street photography.
During the tour, the dynamics of the environment set the pace: the movement of people, the life around the cathedral, the local commerce and the spontaneous encounters built a constant scenario of observation. From this, different moments were generated to stop, look carefully and work on the construction of the image from a clearer intention.
At the same time, the walk allowed to flow with the city, reacting to what was happening in front of the camera. Spontaneous scenes, improvised portraits and everyday gestures were captured by those who participated, giving shape to a series of images that reflect daily life in Babahoyo.
Subsequently, the photographs were shared on social networks and 10 photographs were chosen that represent different views on this tour and on the daily life of the city.
Finally, we thank all the people who participated and trusted in the organization of this walk. Every city, regardless of its scale, offers unique possibilities to observe, document and connect through photography.
