In 1992 he arrives in Xalapa and by 1994 he starts in analog photography in the free workshops of the UV, for more than 10 years he works in audiovisual production and lighting designs for different types of scenarios, in 2010 he formally begins studies in photography and by 2013 he has his first solo exhibition and starts as a workshop leader.
He has had multiple solo exhibitions and some more group exhibitions in several states of the country, as well as abroad countries such as: Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia and the University of Dresden, Germany. He has participated in projects with researchers of the Institute of Anthropology of the UV and the Tropical Research Center of the UV; made collaborations with the Directorate of Artistic Activities of the Ministry of Education of Veracruz, as well as teaching classes in some Houses of Culture, schools of basic education level, high school and university.
He has been awarded in contests such as: “Miradas de la Sierra Madre Oriental”; the “Concurso Estatal para la publicación de Fotolibro”; “Técnicas artesanales tradicionales: artesanías y textiles” del concurso Wiki Loves México, among others.
He builds a large format camera (8x10) and develops chemical and analogical techniques and some ancient processes with which he is invited to represent the State of Veracruz in the “Encuentro Luz del Sur - Policromía lúcida”; he was part of the selection of the V Biennial of Art Veracruz 2020 and has participated in several congresses and exhibitions with the theme of Analogical Photography.
He is active in exhibitions, registration of festivals and carnivals, experimenting with chemical processes, collaborating in artistic projects and teaching classes and workshops at high school and university level.
