Are you a photographer and want your work to be seen by festivals around the world? This is your chance. You can submit your portfolio to participate in this international call for entries until December 22nd. Your project will be reviewed simultaneously by the curators of 20 festivals around the world, which multiplies your chances of being selected. Each festival will choose one artist for a solo exhibition and the 50 finalists will be part of a traveling group exhibition.

20 Selected
What do the 20 selected photographers receive? π Each selected artist will have a solo exhibition at the member festival that chose their project. In addition, they will receive β¬200 from the IPFA to support the production of their exhibition, in addition to any other funds provided by each festival πΈ The winners will enjoy a 50 % discount on participation in the Portfolio Review during the 2nd International Meeting of Photography Festivals 2026 in Barcelona, where directors and curators from around the world will have the opportunity to view their work and establish professional contacts. They will also get free access to the IPFA 2026 Online Conferences and will receive official recognition and a certificate as a Selected Artist. They will also become part of the IPFA Photographers' Repository and will be disseminated in all IPFA and participating festivals' communication channels, including a special video created to present the selected artists and the results of this call β¨.
50 Finalists
What do the 50 finalist photographers receive? π These artists will participate in a traveling group exhibition that will open on March 19, 2026 in Barcelona at the Sala Golfes, IPFA's exhibition space, before touring other member festivals π·π§³ In addition, they will receive a 30% discount on participation in the Portfolio Review during the 2nd.ΒΊ International Meeting of Photography Festivals 2026 in Barcelona, which will provide them with a valuable opportunity to present their work to international directors and curators. Finalists will also receive free access to the IPFA 2026 Online Conferences, as well as recognition and a certificate as a Finalist Artist. Their work will be included in the IPFA Photographers Repository and will be promoted through all IPFA and participating festivals' communication channels, with a special video highlighting the artists and the results of this edition π«
20 Festivals
The IPFA Award 2026 jury will involve 20 photography festivals from around the world π who will join forces to discover and promote new voices in contemporary photography. The directors of each festival will review all submitted portfolios and select the winning and finalist artists. The selected projects will be part of a traveling group exhibition that will tour the 20 participating festivals, offering unique international visibility. We are excited about the great diversity of photographic approaches and genres represented in the jury, from street, documentary and landscape photography to experimental and conceptual, an aspect that will enrich the curatorial approach and multiply the opportunities for artists.
